Event Description:

SoundCheck
, the Chamber's Young Professionals Council is honored to continue our annual MLK Day of Service in 2019 by spending the morning serving our community partners at the Jacob's Ladder Community Development Corporation in the Belt Line neighborhood (near the Fairgrounds).

We encourage all SoundCheck members and their guests or colleagues to join us for this service opportunity! 30 volunteers and 4 hours are all we need to complete the three projects needed this year. Physical labor is required, but all skill levels are welcome.

"Your ongoing commitment to Memphis is astonishing, and especially attention to a small neighborhood like the Belt Line. It would be marvelous if any or all of this can be achieved on MLK Day. Combined projects give us a boost towards summer maintenance, repair of 2603 Felix, and providing finishing aesthetic touches to our community center." - Rev. Bill Marler, Jacob's Ladder Executive Director

One morning can make a big difference in this community, and they are counting on our support! Check out this year's projects and sign up today.
