Winter is not an easy season to embrace. In Mother Nature we see the world is cold and barren, stripped of anything that is not absolutely necessary, for months she rests. It takes a lot of energy to burst forth in the spring, relaxation and hibernation are necessary. When we let Nature be our teacher we can take her cue and strip away what is not absolutely necessary, we can go inside, hibernate, and contemplate what is truly important.
