Dunavant Public Service Awards

15th Annual Dunavant Public Service Awards recognizing exemplary leadership in public service in our community, honoring one elected and one non-elected public official for their service in the tradition of the late Bobby Dunavant, former Shelby County Probate Court Clerk, who was widely recognized as an outstanding civil servant. Carolyn Hardy, Chariman of Chism-Hardy Enterprises and former Chair of the Chairman's Circle of the Memphis Regional Chamber, will be the keynote speaker. Honorees are Judge Timothy Dwyer (elected), creater of the very successful Shelby County Drug Court, and Harvey Kennedy (non-elected), the Chief Administrative Officer for Shelby County.
